    3. Probably the black and white unit

    4. It makes it possible to fix photos and make them turn out the way you want them to turn out, when the situation would have otherwise made it impossible; it also makes it possible to do some very interesting things

    5. Yes, I do a lot of digital art and photomanipulation/design

  5. 1. I do not consider myself a photographer because I do not possess much talent or skill in this area, and I do not do professional work. Sometimes, I will capture an image with my phone, but beyond that, I cannot call myself a photographer without insulting those who are.

  8. I consider myself as a photographer because I have experienced going into the field to capture photos and I have done my best so far to master my artistic and technical skill.

I was always very excited of the assignments over the weekend or fieldtrips because it gave me an alotted time to simply take photos. I don't usually have that, but because we did, I was able to try many new things and see details I haven't noticed before.

My favorite project was the graveyard because it gave me such an eerie feel and my photos were different from my usual sport photos.

I think post is important because its a great way to enhance and salvage photos that have great composition, but bad lighting, etc.

    Yes, and I currently do.

  10. 1. I consider myself a photographer because every since I was little, I'd make sure I brought my camera or the family camera with us wherever we went. I love to have my camera to capture moments because no matter how small the event is, reflecting back on the photograph means a great deal to not only myself but others too.
    2. The most important thing I learned from this class is how to actually use the different settings on the camera such as shutter speed because until this year, I simply used the setting that applied to the situation I was in.
    3. My favorite project of the year was either the light painting or portraiture.
    4. Learning Photoshop and Digital Imaging is important for any photographer because if a photographer cannot fully capture what they wanted on the camera they can use photoshop to reach that goal.
    5. I already use Photoshop outside of class for pictures I've taken at home for family events.

  13. 1.I would consider myself a photography because I love to take pictures and have learned so much from this year I feel more advance than I was when I started.
    2. I think the most important thing I learned was about composition because you can use that knowledge in any picture you take. Also I think learning about depth of field was important because by using this you can make pictures of nature more interesting and try to use bokeh.
    3. My favorite project this year was at Hakone gardens or any of the field trips we took because it was fun to get out of class and take pictures of beautiful nature. I liked the Hakone project too because we had to fit our pics to a poem and that made us expand our creativity with pictures. I also loved black and white photography because by using it, it creates more of a story.
    4. By learning photoshop it helps a photography make a picture even better. Lets say the picture was accidentally too dark or bright you can change that and create it to be better. Also it makes the photography have more creativity and can make there photo into anything even a little world.
    5. Yes, but not much

  15. 1. I don't consider myself a photographer; to me, a photographer is someone who takes pictures for living. I don't depend on photography as a career or a way to make money, its just a past time that I enjoy.
    2. I have learned to properly use my camera and its functions to their full extent.
    3. My favorite project this year was the stories, 5-10 photos telling a story; some students shot in black and white and some in color.
    4. Learning the digital and computer part of photography is important because you can't always capture in a camera what you want to show. For example, our most recent project required us to take a photo into photoshop and wrap it up like a ball. You couldn't do that with your camera alone.
    5. I will probably use photoshop for similar things we have used it for in class.

  16. 1. I consider myself a photographer because I have both components of what makes a photographer: intellect and execution. The intellect portion covers visioning and awareness on what makes a good photo. The execution portions covers how to take the photo that you envisioned. This includes the camera settings.

    2. The most important thing that I learned this year was how to enhance photos in photoshop.

    3. My favorite project this year was the JBK hand because it had meaning and I learned more about photoshop when we used different layers and filters.

    4. Learning Photoshop is essential to a photographer because you can clean up a lot of distractions in a photo and create a more aesthetic picture.

    5. I will definitely use photoshop outside of class: especially, the quick selection tool since I will probably like to make fun composites in the future.

  21. 1) I consider myself a recreational photographer because I feel like I can do a lot with photography now but I'm not quite ready for anything more than just a fun little hobby.
    2) Probably the most important thing I learned this year would have to be exposure with aperture, shutter speed, and ISO.
    3) Hard to say because I really enjoyed a lot of them, except for portraiture really because of how little I like to be photographed and I don't really like photographing people.
    4) It allows the photographer to fix an mistakes or little errors not addressed during the shoot. As well as making them look better by bringing out or dimming different aspects and such.
    5) Actually I love photographing things like food and who knows what I will create so I may use photoshop to edit and create an even more beautiful image from what I have.
